Andrea Mata
I discovered Pilates in 2017 while looking for a way to improve my posture and flexibility after long hours working at a computer. I was immediately drawn to the structured mat and apparatus work and the method’s focus on balanced strength, mindful movement, and body awareness.
During the pandemic, Pilates became an essential part of my daily routine, helping me stay centered, focused, and grounded. Experiencing this powerful mind–body connection inspired me to become a Pilates instructor.
I’ve always loved movement, but Pilates holds a special place in my heart. It is intelligent, balanced, and beautifully structured, with everything we need to create lasting, positive change built into the method itself. I believe Pilates offers something for everyone, regardless of age, body type, or experience, and has a unique ability to awaken joy in the body and inspire curiosity through movement.
I’m passionate about helping clients of all ages and experience levels build healthy movement patterns and deepen their connection between mind and body.
Before becoming a Pilates instructor, I worked as a designer in the textile industry. I’ve always loved symmetry and balance—which is probably why Pilates felt like such a natural transition for me.
